FCC GROL/RADAR LICENSE TRAINING COURSE

DIPLOMAS AND RECOGNITION:

 The successful graduate of the course will receive the following.

GENERAL RADIOTELEPHONE OPERATOR LICENSE WITH RADAR endorsement from the Federal Communications Commission.

COURSE CONTENTS:

• A comprehensive study of FCC Element 1 Exam contents dealing with the Maritime Radio Law and Operation Practices.

• FCC 24-questions exam on Element 1. To pass, an examinee must correctly answer 18 out of 24 questions.

• Compressive study of FCC Element 3 exam contents, including the following subjects:
  1. Electronic Principles
  2. Electrical Math
  3. Power Sources
  4. Electronic Components
  5. Electronic Circuits
  6. Digital Logic/Microprocessors
  7. Types of Modulation
  8. Receivers
  9. Transmitters
  10. Antennas - Feedlines - Waveguides
  11. Aircraft Avionics
  12. Communications Technology
  13. Marine Electronics
  14. RADAR
  15. Satellite Systems
  16. GPS
  17. Installation, Maintenance & Repair
  18. Safety

• FCC 100-question exam on Element 3. To pass, an examinee must correctly answer 75 out of 100 questions.

• A comprehensive study of FCC Element 8 Contents including the following subjects:
  1. Radar System Theory
  2. Specialized Theory and Practice applicable to proper installation, servicing, and maintenance of Radar Equipment including magnetrons and klystrons

• FCC 50-question exam on Element 8. To pass, an examinee must correctly answer 38 out of 50 questions.
